Rear Seat Riser Replacement (Avalanche/Escalade EXT)

Preliminary Procedure

  1. Remove the rear seat. Refer to Rear Seat Replacement (Tahoe with HP2)  or Rear Seat Replacement (Avalanche/Escalade EXT)  or Rear Seat Replacement (Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade with Split Bench)  or Rear Seat Replacement (Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade with Bucket Seat) .
  2. Remove the rear seat back cushion cover and pad. Refer to Rear Seat Back Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement (Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade with Bucket)  or Rear Seat Back Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement (Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade with Split Bench)  or Rear Seat Back Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement (Avalanche/Escalade EXT) .
1 Rear Seat Riser Bolt (Qty: 2)
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

Tighten:  9 N.m (80 lb in)

2 Rear Seat Cushion Assembly
3 Rear Seat Back Bolt (Qty: 4)

Tighten:  9 N.m (80 lb in)

4 Rear Seat Back Cushion Frame
Refer to Front Seat Back Frame Replacement (with HP2)  or Front Seat Back Frame Replacement (except HP2) .
5 Rear Seat Hinge Bracket Bolts (Qty: 6)

Tighten:  9 N.m (80 lb in)

6 Rear Seat Hinge Bracket (Qty: 2)
7 Rear Seat Riser
Procedure: 
Disconnect the cables.
