Front Side Door Window Belt Reveal Molding Replacement (Coupe)

Preliminary Procedures Tape off the lower window frame to prevent damage to the door. Open the door to the full open position. Raise the door window to the full up position. Remove the outside rearview mirror. Refer to Outside Rearview Mirror Replacement (DR2, DR5)Outside Rearview Mirror Replacement (DR4) . It is not necessary to remove the front door side weatherstrip. Disengage the 3 rear upper retainers for the front door side weatherstrip, then reposition the upper rear portion of the weatherstrip to gain access to the rear screw of the belt reveal molding. Refer to Front Side Door Weatherstrip Replacement - Door Side (Coupe) .
1	Front Side Door Window Belt Reveal Molding Screw (Qty: 2) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . NOTE: The front screw is shared with the outside rearview mirror seal. Tighten 1.8 N.m (16 lb in)
2	Front Side Door Window Belt Reveal Molding Procedure Using a suitable tool, lift upward at the rear end of the reveal molding. Work the reveal molding down the door flange until it fully releases. Install the reveal molding to the door flange, push downward on the molding until fully seated. NOTE: Inspect the door window for proper operation before installing the door trim.

Open the door to the full open position.
Raise the door window to the full up position.
Remove the outside rearview mirror. Refer to Outside Rearview Mirror Replacement (DR2, DR5)Outside Rearview Mirror Replacement (DR4) .
It is not necessary to remove the front door side weatherstrip. Disengage the 3 rear upper retainers for the front door side weatherstrip, then reposition the upper rear portion of the weatherstrip to gain access to the rear screw of the belt reveal molding. CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

NOTE:

The front screw is shared with the outside rearview mirror seal.

Tighten
1.8 N.m (16 lb in)

Front Side Door Window Belt Reveal Molding

Procedure

Using a suitable tool, lift upward at the rear end of the reveal molding. Work the reveal molding down the door flange until it fully releases.
Install the reveal molding to the door flange, push downward on the molding until fully seated.

NOTE:

Inspect the door window for proper operation before installing the door trim.
