Removal Procedure

  1. Recover the air conditioning system refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging (R-134a) Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging (R-1234yf) 
  2. Remove Air Cleaner Outlet Duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement (LGX)
  3. Remove Air Cleaner Assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement (LGX)
    4. Fig 1: Radiator Upper Bracket (LTG, LGX)

  4. Remove Radiator Upper Bracket (2). Refer to Radiator Upper Bracket Replacement (LTG, LGX)
  5. Remove Front Bumper Fascia Center Support (Lower). Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Center Support Replacement
  6. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (ATS)

  7. Remove Air Conditioning Compressor and Condenser Hose (2) @ Air Conditioning Condenser. Refer to Air Conditioning Compressor Hose Replacement (LGX)

  8. Remove Condenser Outlet Tube (5). Refer to Condenser Outlet Tube Replacement (LGX)

  9. Remove Radiator Air Upper Baffle and Deflector (2). Refer to Radiator Air Upper Baffle and Deflector Replacement (LGX)
