Installation Procedure

  1. Assemble the engine front cover. Refer to Engine Front Cover Assemble (LF4) .

  2. Use the EN-46109  pins in order to install the engine front cover. Refer to Engine Front Cover Installation (LF4) .
  3. Install the crankshaft balancer. Refer to Crankshaft Balancer Replacement (LF4) .
  4. Install the water outlet with radiator hose. Refer to Water Outlet Replacement (LF4) .
  5. Install the camshaft covers. Refer to Camshaft Cover Replacement - Left Side (LF4) , and Camshaft Cover Replacement - Right Side (LF4) .
  6. Install the generator and drive belt tensioner bracket. Refer to Generator and Drive Belt Tensioner Bracket Replacement 
  7. Install the air conditioning compressor bracket. Refer to Air Conditioning Compressor Bracket Replacement (LF4) .
  8. Install the intake manifold. Refer to Intake Manifold Replacement (LF4) .
  9. Install the water pump pulley. Refer to Water Pump Replacement (LF4) .
  10. Install the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement (LF4) .
  11. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static)Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716) .
