Preliminary Procedures Open the liftgate. Remove the interior liftgate garnish molding. Refer to Liftgate Garnish Molding Replacement (TB4) , Liftgate Garnish Molding Replacement (TB5) . Remove the rear spoiler. Refer to Rear Spoiler Replacement (Enclave, Traverse) , Rear Spoiler Replacement (Acadia) . Place the rear spoiler on a clean protected surface in order to remove the bottom mounted stop lamp.
1	High Mount Stop Lamp Screws (Qty: 2) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 2 N.m (18 lb in)
2	High Mount Stop Lamp Assembly Procedure Remove the high mount stop lamp from the bottom side of the rear spoiler.

Remove the rear spoiler. Refer to Rear Spoiler Replacement (Enclave, Traverse) , Rear Spoiler Replacement (Acadia) .
Place the rear spoiler on a clean protected surface in order to remove the bottom mounted stop lamp.

High Mount Stop Lamp Screws (Qty: 2)

CAUTION:

Tighten
2 N.m (18 lb in)

High Mount Stop Lamp Assembly
Procedure
Remove the high mount stop lamp from the bottom side of the rear spoiler.
