CAUTION: Refer to Brake Dust Caution . Preliminary Procedures Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle . Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation . Remove the rear axle hub. Refer to Rear Axle Hub, Bearing, Cup, and/or Seal Replacement . Remove the park brake shoes. Refer to Parking Brake Shoe Replacement (JD9) or Parking Brake Shoe Replacement (JH6, JH7) . Remove the park brake actuator. Refer to Parking Brake Actuator Replacement (JD9) or Parking Brake Actuator Replacement (JH6, JH7) .
1	Backing Plate Nut (Qty 4) NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice . Tighten: 225 N.m (166 lb ft)
2	Backing Plate Bolt (Qty 4)
