    Normal Operation and Fault Conditions

The transfer case shift actuator contains 2 hall effect position sensors. The sensors share power and ground circuits. Power is provided by the AWD module and is 5v.

    DTC Fault Trigger Conditions

    DTC Description Fault Trigger Condition
AWD C05E0:1C 4WD/AWD Clutch "A" Position Sensor Circuit: Circuit Voltage Out Of Range This DTC sets when the AWD module Clutch "A" Position Sensor Circuit detects transfer case unit control circuit driver circuit voltage out of range.
AWD C05E0:86 4WD/AWD Clutch "A" Position Sensor Circuit: Signal Invalid This DTC sets if the AWD module Clutch "A" Position Sensor Circuit detects signal invalid.
