Without Overhead Console

NOTE:

In the event the headliner is damaged or creased during removal, it will need to be replaced with a new headliner.

  1. Remove the fasteners (2) and the grab handles (3).
  2. Remove the left and A-pillar trim. Refer to PANEL, A-PILLAR TRIM, REMOVAL .
  3. Remove the left and upper B-pillar trim. Refer to PANEL, B-PILLAR TRIM, UPPER, REMOVAL .

  4. Remove the fasteners (2) and both left and right sun visors (1).

  5. Remove the fasteners (1) and both left and right sun visor supports (2).
  6. Remove the dome lamp and disconnect the electrical connector. Refer to LAMP, DOME, REMOVAL .

  7. Using a trim stick or equivalent, release the overhead switch pod bezel (1) and disconnect the wire harness connectors (2). Remove the switch pod bezel (1) from the vehicle.

  8. Through the dome lamp opening, remove the fasteners (1) securing the headliner bracket.

  9. Remove the push fasteners (1) holding the headliner (2) in place.
  10. Remove the headliner.
