Lamp, Dome: Removal
- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
- Using a trim stick, insert the tip at the location shown (1), pressing inward towards the lamp to relieve the spring tension. This will allow the dome lamp assembly (2) to drop downward from its bracket.
- If replacing the unit, disconnect the lamp unit electrical connectors from the main harness and remove from the vehicle.
- If replacing a bulb, insert a trim stick or equivalent where indicated, and release the light pod cover away from the dome lamp assembly (1).
- Remove the drivers-side (1) or passenger-side (2) dome lamp bulbs and replace as needed.
