Test 18A - Solenoid Switch Latched In TCC Position (DTC 37)
NOTE:
Perform TEST 2A
before proceeding with this test. For connector terminal identification, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION
. For wiring diagrams, see WIRING DIAGRAMS
. Perform VERIFICATION TEST VER-1A
after each repair.
NOTE:
Transmission Control Module (TCM) replacement WILL NOT
correct DTC 37.
Remove transaxle pan. If bottom of pan contains contamination, inspect internal components of transaxle. If pan has no contamination, remove and disassemble valve body. See AUTO TRANS OVERHAUL - CHRYSLER 41TE/AE article. Inspect solenoid switch valve for sticking. Repair as needed.
