Removal Procedure

  1. Drain the engine oil. Engine Oil and Oil Filter Replacement

    Engine Front Cover (1) - Remove - Engine Front Cover Replacement

    Oil Pump Flow Control Valve Heat Shield (3) - Remove - Oil Pump Flow Control Valve Heat Shield Replacement

  5. Catalytic Converter Brace (2) - Remove - Catalytic Converter Brace Bracket Replacement (Upper, LCV) , or Catalytic Converter Brace Bracket Replacement (Lower, LCV)

    Air Conditioning Compressor Bolt (1) - Remove

    Electrical Connector (1) - Disconnect

  8. Wiring Harness Retainer @ Oil Pan (2) - Remove

    Transmission Bolt (1) - Remove

    Remove the lower front wheel drive intermediate shaft bracket bolt (1) from the oil pan. Front Wheel Drive Shaft Replacement - Right Side (LCV with FWD)

    Oil Pan Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]

  12. Oil Pan Bolt (2) - Remove [10x]
  13. Oil Pan Bolt (3) - Remove
  14. Oil Pan - Remove
  15. Oil Pan - Clean and inspect - Oil Pan Cleaning and Inspection 
  16. Clean the engine block sealing surface. Engine Block Cleaning and Inspection
