Rear Side Door Window Replacement

WARNING:

Disconnect the power window switch when working inside the door. When operated, the Express Up/Down Feature allows the door window to move very quickly, without stopping, which could cause personal injury.

CAUTION:

Refer to Paint Damage Caution .

Preliminary Procedures 
  1. Rear Side Door Window Weatherstrip Retainer Replacement 
  2. Rear Side Door Window Belt Reveal Molding Replacement 
  3. Rear Side Door Window Inner Sealing Strip Replacement 
1 Rear Side Door Window Regulator Sash Retainer

Procedure

  1. Lower the window enough to gain access to the window regulator sash retainer.
  2. Using the appropriate tool, push the rear side door window sash retainer outward, while pulling up on window to release the window from the sash retainer.
  3. Carefully grasp and tilt the window as you guide the window up and forward.
