Installation Procedure

Lubricate the master cylinder reservoir seals with GM approved brake fluid from a clean, sealed, brake fluid container. - Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers

NOTE:
Ensure the seals are fully seated in the master cylinder.

NOTE:
Use a NEW bolt.

CAUTION:
Fastener Caution

Brake Master Cylinder Reservoir Bolt (1) - Install and tighten7 N.m (62 lb in)

Brake Master Cylinder Hose Quick Connect Fitting (1) - Connect
Connect the brake fluid level sensor electrical connector.
Reposition and install the radiator surge tank. - Radiator Surge Tank Replacement (LTG) , or Radiator Surge Tank Replacement (LKN) , or Radiator Surge Tank Replacement (LFV)
Bleed the hydraulic brake system. - Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Pressure) , or Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Manual)
