Installation Procedure

- Master Cylinder Reservoir - Install - Brake Master Cylinder Reservoir Replacement (With HP4)
- NOTE:
Ensure the brake master cylinder seal is seated completely and is not twisted.
Brake Master Cylinder Seal (1) - Install
Brake Master Cylinder (1) - Install
- CAUTION:
Brake Master Cylinder Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
Master Cylinder Primary Brake Pipe Fitting (1) - Install and tighten 32 N.m (24 lb ft)
Master Cylinder Secondary Brake Pipe Fitting (1) - Install and tighten 32 N.m (24 lb ft)
Brake Master Cylinder Hose Quick Connect Fitting (1) - Connect
- Connect the brake fluid level sensor electrical connector.
- Reposition and install the radiator surge tank. - Radiator Surge Tank Replacement (LTG) , or Radiator Surge Tank Replacement (LKN) , or Radiator Surge Tank Replacement (LFV)
- Fill the master cylinder reservoir. - Brake Master Cylinder Reservoir Filling
- Install the electric brake booster fuse to the engine compartment fuse block.
- Bleed the hydraulic brake system. - Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Pressure) , or Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Manual)
