Installation Procedure

    Auxiliary Air Conditioning Evaporator and Blower Module (1) - Install

    Connect the electrical connectors.

    3. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  3. Auxiliary Air Conditioning Evaporator and Blower Module Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] 10 N.m (89 lb in)

    Rear Floor Auxiliary Air Outlet Duct (2) - Install - Rear Floor Auxiliary Air Outlet Duct Replacement (Top Hat Cargo) , or Rear Floor Auxiliary Air Outlet Duct Replacement (Passenger Long Wheel Base Over the Axle) , or Rear Floor Auxiliary Air Outlet Duct Replacement (Front Long Wheel Base Passenger) , or Rear Floor Auxiliary Air Outlet Duct Replacement (Front Short Wheel Base Passenger)

    Auxiliary Air Conditioning Air Outlet Duct- Rear Pillar (2) - Install - Auxiliary Air Conditioning Air Outlet Duct Replacement (Top Hat Cargo Van C69) , or Auxiliary Air Conditioning Air Outlet Duct Replacement (Rear Pillar Passenger Van) 

  6. Body Rear Corner Trim Panel - Left Side - Install - Body Rear Corner Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side
  7. Body Rear Corner Garnish Molding - Left Side - Install - Body Rear Corner Garnish Molding Replacement
  8. Install the rear bench seats. Rear Bench Seat Removal and Installation (With Bench Seat) , or Rear Bench Seat Removal and Installation (With Split Bench)
  9. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle

    Install NEW sealing washers. (3) [2x] Air Conditioning System Seal Replacement 

  11. Auxiliary Air Conditioning Evaporator Hose (4) @ Auxiliary Air Conditioning Evaporator - Install
  12. Auxiliary Air Conditioning Evaporator Hose Nut (5) @ Auxiliary Air Conditioning Evaporator Hose (4) - Install and tighten - Auxiliary Air Conditioning Evaporator Hose Replacement (Rear) 
  13. Auxiliary Heater Outlet Hose (7) - Install
  14. Auxiliary Heater Inlet Hose (6) - Install
  15. Auxiliary Heater Inlet Hose Clamp (2) - Engage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
  16. Auxiliary Heater Outlet Hose Clamp (1) - Engage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type

    Auxiliary Air Conditioning Evaporator Tube Shield (3) - Install

  18. Auxiliary Air Conditioning Evaporator Tube Shield Nut (2) - Install and tighten - Auxiliary Air Conditioning Evaporator Hose Replacement (Rear) 
  19. Auxiliary Air Conditioning Evaporator Tube Shield Push Pin (1) - Install [2x]
  20. Lower the vehicle.
  21. Evacuate and charge the refrigerant system. Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging 
  22. Fill the cooling system to the proper level.
  23. Inspect for coolant leaks.
  24. Inspect for refrigerant leaks.
