Installation Procedure

Clean all sealing surfaces.
Assemble the oil pan. Oil Pan Assemble

Install a NEW oil filter seal (1)

NOTE:
The complete installation procedure of the oil pan should be completed within 20 minutes.

Apply silicone sealing compound (1) to the oil pan surface. The thickness of the sealing bead (1) should be 3.0 - 4.0 mm (0.118 - 0.157 in).

Install the oil pan (2) with the pins (1) in their holes.

Loosely install the oil pan bolts. (1, 2, 3) [15x]

CAUTION:
Fastener Caution

Oil Pan Bolt - Tighten in sequence [15x] 25 N.m (18 lb ft)

Transmission Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] 58 N.m (43 lb ft).

Electrical Connector (1) @ Engine Oil Level Indicator - Connect
{If equipped} Install the engine oil heater. Engine Oil Heater Replacement
Exhaust Front Pipe - Install - Exhaust Front Pipe Replacement (1.6L Diesel LH7) .
Front Compartment Insulator Replacement - Install
Install the oil level indicator. Oil Level Indicator Replacement
Fill and check the engine oil level. Engine Oil and Oil Filter Replacement
