Oil Pan Assemble
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
Install the oil pan baffle (2) to the oil pan (3).
- Install the 6 oil pan baffle bolts (1) and tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
- Install the 2 location pins (4).
Install a NEW oil level indicator switch gasket (2).
- Install the oil level indicator switch (3) to the oil pan (1).
- Install the 3 oil level indicator switch bolts (4) and tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
- Clean the oil filter housing of the oil pan and oil filter cap until it is completely free of debris.
Install a NEW oil filter insert (2).
- Coat the seal ring with NEW clean engine oil.
- Install a NEW oil filter cap seal (3).
- Install the oil filter cap (4) to the oil pan (1) and tighten to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
CAUTION:
Refer to Fastener Caution .
CAUTION:
Over torquing the oil filter cap may cause damage to the oil filter cap resulting in an oil leak.
