Installation Procedure

NOTE:
An audible click will be heard when the clip (arrows) is correctly seated.

Install the clutch master cylinder (1) into the brake pedal assembly.
Connect the push rod retainer (2) to the clutch pedal.
Install the clutch pedal position sensor. Refer to Clutch Pedal Position Sensor Replacement .
Install the clutch pedal return spring. Refer to Clutch Pedal Return Spring Replacement (Left Hand Drive) Clutch Pedal Return Spring Replacement (Right Hand Drive) .

CAUTION:
Refer to Fastener Caution .

Install the 2 clutch master cylinder mount nuts (1) and tighten to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).

Connect the clutch actuator cylinder front pipe (2) to the clutch master cylinder.
Install the retaining clip (1).

Install the clutch actuator cylinder front pipe (2) to the retainers (1).
Install the clutch master cylinder reservoir hose to the clutch master cylinder. Refer to Clutch Master Cylinder Reservoir Hose Replacement (Left Hand Drive) Clutch Master Cylinder Reservoir Hose Replacement (Right Hand Drive) .
Install the brake pressure modulator valve bracket. Refer to Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Bracket Replacement .
Bleed the hydraulic clutch system. Refer to Hydraulic Clutch System Bleeding .
Install the battery tray. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement (without Engine Block Heater)Battery Tray Replacement (with Engine Block Heater) .
