Removal Procedure

- Open the hood.
- Disconnect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
- Recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging (R-134a) Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging (R-1234yf) .
- Remove the front bumper fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement .
- Remove the headlamp. Refer to Headlamp Replacement (Projection/SBV)Headlamp Replacement (BASE/SBM) .
- Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement .
- Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement (LV7) .
- Release the air cleaner inlet duct from air cleaner outlet resonator. Refer to Air Cleaner Inlet Duct Replacement .
- Remove the intake air duct resonator. Refer to Intake Air Duct Resonator Replacement .
- Remove the air conditioning compressor tube. Refer to Air Conditioning Compressor Tube Replacement .
- Disconnect the A/C refrigerant pressure sensor electrical connector.
- Check the A/C evaporator hose assembly (1) routing.
- Remove the air conditioning evaporator hose assembly nut (1) to air conditioning evaporator thermal expansion valve.
- Remove the air conditioning evaporator hose assembly mounting bracket nut (2).
- Unclip the air conditioning evaporator hose assembly clips (1) from hose assembly.
- Remove the air conditioning evaporator hose assembly nut (1) to air conditioning condenser.
- Remove the air conditioning evaporator hose assembly.
- Remove and discard the old sealing washers and replace NEW sealing washers.
