Installation Procedure

  1. Install the air conditioning evaporator hose assembly.
    NOTE: Use NEW sealing washers.
  2. Install the air conditioning evaporator hose assembly nut (1) to air conditioning compressor and tighten to 22 N.m (16 lb ft)

  3. Clip the air conditioning evaporator hose assembly clips (1) to the hose assembly.

  4. Install the air conditioning evaporator hose assembly mounting bracket nut (2) and tighten to 6 N.m (53 lb in)

  5. Install the air conditioning evaporator hose assembly nut (1) to air conditioning evaporator thermal expansion valve and tighten to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).
  6. Check the A/C evaporator hose assembly (1) routing.

  7. Connect the A/C refrigerant pressure sensor electrical connector.
  8. Install the air conditioning compressor tube. Refer to Air Conditioning Compressor Tube Replacement .
  9. Install the intake air duct resonator. Refer to Intake Air Duct Resonator Replacement .
  10. Install the air cleaner inlet duct to the air cleaner outlet resonator. Refer to Air Cleaner Inlet Duct Replacement .
  11. Install the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement (LV7) .
  12. Install the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement .
  13. Install the headlamp. Refer to Headlamp Replacement (Projection/SBV)Headlamp Replacement (BASE/SBM) .
  14. Install the front bumper fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement .
  15. Charge the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging (R-134a) Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging (R-1234yf) .
  16. Connect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
