Installation Procedure

  1. With the aid of an assistant, load the instrument panel (1) to the instrument panel upper trim panel and the tie bar.

  2. Reposition the instrument panel wiring harness into the vehicle position as was noted in the removal and connect the fasteners securing the instrument panel wiring harness to the instrument carrier.
  3. Connect the passenger airbag connector (1).

  4. Push the instrument panel upper trim panel clips (1) to I/P lower trim panel.

  5. Install the instrument panel wiring harness clips (1) [3x] to I/P tie bar.

  6. Install the instrument panel inflatable restraint module bracket bolts (1) and tighten to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

    CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  7. Install the instrument panel screws (1) to the right side of the I/P upper trim panel.

  8. Install the instrument panel screws (1) to the center of the I/P upper trim panel.

  9. Install the instrument panel screws (1) to the left side of the I/P upper trim panel.

  10. {If equipped} Install the forward collision alert display assembly (1). Refer to Forward Collision Alert Display Replacement

  11. Install the sun load temperature sensor (2). Refer to Sun Load Temperature Sensor Replacement .

  12. Install both of the windshield garnish moldings (3). Refer to Windshield Garnish Molding Replacement .

  13. Install the instrument panel cluster (2). Refer to Instrument Cluster Replacement .

  14. Install the instrument panel cluster trim plate (2). Refer to Instrument Panel Cluster Trim Plate Replacement .

  15. Install the instrument panel trim plate applique (3) at driver side. Refer to Instrument Panel Trim Plate Applique Replacement (Driver) Instrument Panel Trim Plate Applique Replacement (Passenger)

  16. Install the instrument panel center trim plate applique (3). Refer to Instrument Panel Center Trim Plate Applique Replacement .

  17. Install the instrument panel trim plate applique (3). Refer to Instrument Panel Trim Plate Applique Replacement (Driver) Instrument Panel Trim Plate Applique Replacement (Passenger) .

  18. If the automatic HVAC is equipped, install the heater and air conditioning control (2). Refer to Heater and Air Conditioning Control Replacement .

  19. If the manual HVAC is equipped, install the heater and air conditioning control with cable control (2). Refer to Heater and Air Conditioning Control with Cable Control Replacement .
  20. If equipped, install the BYOM silver box. Refer to Radio ReplacementRadio Replacement (BYOM Silver Box) (BYOM Silver Box).

  21. If equipped, install the driver information display. Refer to Driver Information Display Replacement (BYOM) .

  22. Install the radio assembly (2). Refer to Radio ReplacementRadio Replacement (BYOM Silver Box) .

  23. Install the instrument panel lower trim plate applique (3). Refer to Instrument Panel Lower Trim Plate Applique Replacement .
