Disassembly Procedure

  1. Remove the evaporative emission canister. Refer to Evaporative Emission Canister Replacement (32L (8.5 US Gallon) Tank) Evaporative Emission Canister Replacement (35L (9 US Gallon) Tank) .
  2. Disconnect the fuel feed/evaporative emission separator (1) from the fuel tank fuel pump module. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .

  3. Disconnect the fuel tank wiring harness (2) from the fuel tank fuel pump module.
  4. Remove the fuel tank fuel pump module. Refer to Fuel Tank Fuel Pump Module Replacement (32L (8.5 US Gallon) Tank) Fuel Tank Fuel Pump Module Replacement (35L (9 US Gallon) Tank) .
