Preliminary Procedures

  1. Remove the fuel tank. Refer to Fuel Tank Replacement (32L (8.5 US Gallon) Tank) .
  2. Disconnect the fuel feed/evaporative emission separator from the fuel tank fuel pump module.
  3. Remove the electrical connector.
1 Fuel Pump Lock Ring
Special Tools 
EN-50167  Fuel Pump Lock Ring Remover/Installer
For equivalent regional tools, refer to Special Tools (Diagnostic Tools)Special Tools (Service Repair Tools) .
2 Fuel Pump Seal
Procedure 
Discard the old seal and replace it with the New fuel pump seal.
3 Fuel Pump
