Removal Procedure

Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
Remove the front bumper fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement .
Remove the head lamps. Refer to Headlamp Replacement (Projection/SBV)Headlamp Replacement (BASE/SBM) .
Remove the surge tank bolts and reposition the surge tank. Refer to Radiator Surge Tank Replacement .
Remove the air cleaner inlet duct from the upper tie bar. Refer to Air Cleaner Inlet Duct Replacement .
Remove the upper tie bar to impact bar retaining bolts left side (1).

Remove the upper tie bar to impact bar retaining bolts right side (1).

Remove the upper tie bar to front compartment side rail retaining nut left side (1).

Remove the upper tie bar to front compartment side rail retaining nut right side (1).

Disconnect any electrical connectors from the radiator.
Unclip the electrical wiring harness retaining clips around the front upper tie bar assembly.
Pull up and reposition the upper tie bar assembly (1).

Remove the radiator lower bracket bolts (1).

Pull up the condenser radiator fan module slightly to remove the radiator lower bracket.
Remove the radiator lower bracket (2).
