Installation Procedure

  1. Install the radiator lower bracket (2).

  2. Install the condenser radiator fan module.
  3. Install the radiator lower bracket bolts (1) to tighten to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).
    CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  4. Position the upper tie bar assembly (1).

  5. Clip the electrical wiring harness retaining clips around the front upper tie bar assembly.
  6. Connect any electrical connectors from the radiator.
  7. Install the upper tie bar to front compartment side rail retaining nut right side (1) and tighten to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  8. Install the upper tie bar to front compartment side rail retaining nut left side (1) and tighten to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  9. Install the upper tie bar to impact bar retaining bolts right side (1) and tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  10. Install the upper tie bar to impact bar retaining bolts left side (1) and tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  11. Install the air cleaner inlet duct on the upper tie bar. Refer to Air Cleaner Inlet Duct Replacement .
  12. Position the surge tank and install the surge tank bolts. Refer to Radiator Surge Tank Replacement .
  13. Install the head lamps. Refer to Headlamp Replacement (Projection/SBV)Headlamp Replacement (BASE/SBM) .
  14. Install the front bumper fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement .
  15. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
