Installation Procedure

Position the hood primary latch release cable (1) to the hinge pillar inner panel. Install the hood primary latch release cable handle screw (3) and tighten to 2.5 N.m (18 lb in).

Install the hood primary latch release cable grommet to the dash.

Install the body control module bracket. Refer to Body Control Module Bracket Replacement
Install the front side door sill garnish molding. Refer to Front Side Door Sill Garnish Molding Replacement .
Install the hood primary latch release cable handle. Refer to Hood Primary Latch Release Cable Handle Replacement .
Install the instrument panel knee bolster. Refer to Instrument Panel Knee Bolster Replacement .
Install the hood primary latch release cable (1) to the hood release cable retainers (2).

Connect the hood primary latch release cable (1) to the hood primary and secondary latch.

Install the hood primary and secondary latch to the body panel. Refer to Hood Primary and Secondary Latch Replacement .
Install the radiator surge tank. Refer to Radiator Surge Tank Replacement .
