Removal Procedure

  1. Drain the engine oil. Refer to Engine Oil and Oil Filter Replacement 
  2. Exhaust Heat Exchanger - Remove Exhaust Heat Exchanger Replacement (LKN)
  3. Front Wheelhouse Liner - Right Side Remove Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement
  4. Exhaust Rear Bracket - Remove Exhaust Rear Bracket Replacement (LKN)
  5. Transmission Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]

  6. Transmission Mount Strut Bracket - Remove Transmission Mount Strut Bracket Replacement
  7. Oil Pan Bolt (1) - Remove [3x]

    NOTE: Mark the position of the oil pan bolts because of different length.
  8. Oil Pan Bolt (2) - Remove [10x]
  9. Oil Pan (3) - Remove
  10. If re-installing the oil pan, clean perform a cleaning and inspection prior to reinstalling. Refer to Oil Pan Cleaning and Inspection
