Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Removal and Installation .
  2. Remove the rear seat back cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Back Cushion Removal and Installation (Split Folding Side Cushion Sedan) Rear Seat Back Cushion Removal and Installation (Split Folding Center Cushion Sedan) Rear Seat Back Cushion Removal and Installation (Fixed Back) .
  3. If fitted, remove the rear seat head restraints. Refer to Rear Seat Head Restraint Replacement .
  4. Place the rear seat back cushion on suitable work surface.
  5. Turn the rear seat back over on its front.

  6. Detach the rear seat back cover to rear seat back pad and frame retaining J-strips (1).

  7. While holding the rear seat back pad, remove the rear seat back cover.
