WARNING: Refer to Exhaust Service Warning . WARNING: Refer to Eye Protection Warning . Preliminary Procedures Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle . Remove the underbody side rail cross brace. Refer to Underbody Side Rail Cross Brace Replacement (Convertible) . Remove the underbody brace. Refer to Underbody Brace Replacement (Coupe and Convertible) Underbody Brace Replacement (Convertible Only) .
1	Exhaust Muffler Vacuum Valve Hose (Qty: 2)
2	Exhaust Pipe Clamp (Qty: 2) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 48 N.m (35 lb ft)
3	Exhaust Isolator NOTE: Lubricate exhaust isolators for ease of installation.
4	Exhaust Muffler with Resonator Procedure Disconnect the exhaust muffler vacuum valve hoses from the rear muffler valves. Disconnect the exhaust system from the catalytic converters. With the aid of a technician, remove the exhaust muffler from the exhaust isolators and lower to the floor.
