Driver or Passenger Seat Back Cushion Frame Replacement

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Remove the front seat. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket .
  2. Remove the cushion frame. Refer to Driver or Passenger Seat Cushion Frame Replacement .
  3. Remove the seat back cover and pad assembly. Refer to Driver or Passenger Seat Back Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement .
  4. Adjust the seat back position until the notches in the seat back line up with the springs.
  5. Slide the spring onto the notches. Ensure that the springs are completely engaged into the notches.
  6. Adjust the seat back forward to allow the springs to be lifted from the impact tube.
1 Seat Back Frame Nut (Qty: 6)
CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tighten:  13 N.m (115 lb in)

2 Seat Back Frame Assembly
Tip:  Separate the seat adjuster tracks.
