Driver or Passenger Seat Cushion Frame Replacement

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Remove the front seat. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket .
  2. Remove the seat cushion inner trim cover. Refer to Seat Cushion Inner Trim Panel Replacement .
  3. Remove the seat cushion outer trim cover. Refer to Front Seat Cushion Outer Trim Panel Replacement .
  4. Remove the front seat cushion cover and pad. Refer to Front Seat Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement (UD0)  or Front Seat Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement (ADM) .
  5. Re-zero the inflatable restraint passenger presence system whenever the seat cushion or any component of the passenger presence system is removed, if equipped. Refer to Control Module References .
1 Seat Cushion Assembly Screw (Qty: 4)
CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tighten:  25 N.m (18 lb ft)

2 Seat Cushion Frame Assembly
Tip: 
  • Remove the lumbar adjuster screws.
  • Disconnect the cushion heater electrical connector.
