Rear Door Energy Absorber Pad Replacement

Fastener Tightening Specifications:  Refer to Fastener Tightening Specifications .

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Place the window in the full up position.
  2. Remove the rear door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  3. Remove the rear door water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  4. Remove the rear door window regulator. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Regulator Replacement (Manual Sedan) or Rear Side Door Window Regulator Replacement (Power Sedan) .

Tip:  Remove the push-in retainer from the door.
