Front Side Door Weatherstrip Replacement - Body Side (Convertible)

Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the front carpet retainer. Refer to Front Side Door Opening Floor Carpet Retainer Replacement
2. Remove the quarter upper trim panel. Refer to Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement (Coupe) , Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement (Convertible) .
3. Remove the quarter window reveal molding. Refer to Quarter Window Reveal Molding Replacement .

Procedure

1. Disengage/engage the weatherstrip retainers at the upper quarter panel.
2. Installing the weatherstrip, starting at the base of the quarter window and lock pillar. Work the weatherstrip clockwise around the door ring seating the weatherstrip on the pinch weld flange. Be sure to tuck the forward portion of the weatherstrip under the windshield frame weatherstrip.
