Air Conditioning and Heater Module Assembly Removal and Installation

Preliminary Procedure

  1. Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill)Cooling System Draining and Filling (Vac N Fill)
  2. Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging 
  3. Heater Inlet Hose Replacement 
  4. Heater Outlet Hose Replacement 
  5. Air Conditioning Evaporator Thermal Expansion Valve Replacement 
  6. Instrument Panel Carrier Replacement
CAUTION:

Refer to HVAC Module Drain Tube Caution .

1 HVAC Module Assembly Nut (Qty: 4)
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .


Tighten 
6 N.m (53 lb in)
2 HVAC Module to I/P Carrier Bolt (Qty: 2)
Tighten 
6 N.m (53 lb in)
3 HVAC Module Assembly
Procedure 
Cap or plug A/C and heater pipe openings to prevent spillage of fluids upon removal.
