Rear Seat Inner Recliner Cable Replacement (Short Cable 40%)

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Remove the rear seat. Refer to Rear Seat Removal and Installation (40%) .
  2. Remove the rear seat outboard outer recliner cover. Refer to Rear Seat Recliner Outer Finish Cover Replacement - Inboard (40%) .
  3. Remove the rear back cushion filler panel. Refer to Rear Seat Back Filler Panel Replacement (40%) .
1 Rear Seat Back Latch Release Cable

Procedure

  1. Note the routing of the cable for installation purposes.
  2. Disconnect the cable from the recliner.
  3. Note the location of the retainer clip when removing the cable and always make sure the cable is attached to the clip in the same location.
