Rear Seat Back Cushion Frame Replacement (40%)

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Remove the rear seat. Refer to Rear Seat Removal and Installation (40%) .
  2. Remove the rear seat cushion cover and pad. Refer to Rear Seat Back Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement (40% with Armrest) Rear Seat Back Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement (40% without Armrest) .
  3. Remove the rear seat latch release handle assembly. Refer to Rear Seat Back Cushion Latch Release Handle Replacement (40%) .
  4. Remove the rear seat back cushion stowage latch actuator. Refer to Rear Seat Back Cushion Stowage Latch Actuator Replacement (40%) .
1 Rear Seat Bolt (Qty: 2)
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .


TIP:  Use a grease pencil or marker to mark the location of the bolts for installation to ensure correct alignment of the seat back.
Tighten 
45 N.m (33 lb ft)
2 Rear Seat Bolt
TIP:  Use a grease pencil or marker to mark the location of the bolts for installation to ensure correct alignment of the seat back.
Tighten 
28 N.m (21 lb ft)
3 Rear Seat Recliner Bolt
TIP:  Use a grease pencil or marker to mark the location of the bolts for installation to ensure correct alignment of the seat back.
Tighten 
28 N.m (21 lb ft)
