Installation Procedure

    Instrument Panel Trim Plate Applique - Right Side (2) - Install

    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Instrument Panel Accessory Trim Plate Bolt @ Instrument Panel Carrier (1) - Install and tighten [6x] - Fastener Specifications

    Instrument Panel Upper Trim Panel - Right Side (1) - Install

    Instrument Panel Upper Trim Panel Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [6x] - Fastener Specifications

    Connect the electrical connectors.

  6. Instrument Panel Airbag Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [3x] - Fastener Specifications 
  7. Instrument Panel Upper Trim Panel Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [3x] - Fastener Specifications

    Instrument Panel Trim Pad (1) - Install

    Connect the electrical connectors.

  10. Instrument Panel Compartment (1) - Install

    Instrument Panel Compartment Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [5x] - Fastener Specifications

    Connect the electrical connector.

  13. Instrument Panel Lower Airbag - Passenger Side (2) - Install
  14. Instrument Panel Lower Airbag Nut (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

    Connect the electrical connectors.

  16. Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Insulator (1) - Install
  17. Install the front edge of the front floor console extension panel into the instrument panel lower trim panel insulator (1).

    Instrument Panel Insulator Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications

    Unlock and lower the body control module bracket (2).

  20. Connect the electrical connectors.
  21. Close and lock the body control module bracket (2) into the instrument panel lower trim panel insulator.
  22. Body Control Module Bracket Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications

    Instrument Panel Outer Trim Cover - Right Side (1) - Install

    Instrument Panel Cluster Trim Plate (2) - Install

  25. Instrument Panel Cluster Trim Plate Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

    NOTE:

    Instrument panel steering column upper trim cover is removed for graphic clarity.

    {If equipped} Connect the electrical connector (1)

    Secure the instrument panel steering column upper trim cover (1) to the instrument panel steering column lower trim cover.

    Instrument Panel Instrument Cluster Hood (1) - Install

    Connect the electrical connector.

  30. Instrument Panel Extension (1) - Install

    Connect the electrical connectors.

  32. Windshield Garnish Molding Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
  33. Align the retainer clips with the slots in the A pillar and press the windshield garnish moldings (1) into place.
  34. Windshield Garnish Molding (1) - Install [2x]

    Connect and position the wiring harness.

  36. Instrument Panel Knee Bolster (1) - Install

    Data Link Connector Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications 

  38. Instrument Panel Knee Bolster Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [3x] - Fastener Specifications

    Connect the electrical connector.

  40. Instrument Panel Center Trim Pad (1) - Install
  41. Return the steering column to its original position.

    Connect the electrical connector.

    Install the tabs into the instrument panel lower trim panel insulator (1).

    Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Insulator Retainer (1) - Install

  46. Instrument Panel Insulator Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications 
  47. Instrument Panel Insulator Nut (3) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

    Attach the hood primary latch release cable end retainer to the hood primary latch release cable handle (1).

    Connect the electrical connector.

  51. Instrument Panel Lower Airbag - Driver Side (2) - Install
  52. Instrument Panel Lower Airbag Nut (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

  54. Radio Control (2) - Install
  55. Radio Control Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

    Connect the electrical connector.

  59. Radio Front Center Speaker (2) - Install
  60. Radio Front Center Speaker Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

    Radio Front Center Speaker Grille (1) - Install

  62. Enable the SIR System. SIR Disabling and Enabling .
  63. Clear DTCs
