Installation Procedure
- Install the brake pipe from the vehicle.
- Return the transmission to the original location.
Remove the cap from the brake hose inlet fitting.
- Brake Pipe Fitting (1) - Install and tighten 19 N.m (14 lb ft)
- Transmission Mount - Install - Transmission Mount Replacement (AWD)Transmission Mount Replacement (LSY with MHS)
- Warm Up Three-Way Catalytic Converter - Install - Warm Up Three-Way Catalytic Converter Replacement - Left Side (LGX) and Warm Up Three-Way Catalytic Converter Replacement - Right Side (LGX) or Warm Up Three-Way Catalytic Converter Replacement - Left Side (LTA) and Warm Up Three-Way Catalytic Converter Replacement - Right Side (LTA)
- Lower the vehicle.
Brake Pipe Retainer (1) - Secure
Brake Pipe Retainer (1) - Secure [2x]
Brake Pipe Retainer (2) - Secure [2x]
- Remove the plug from the brake pressure modulator valve pipe.
- Brake Pipe Fitting (1) - Install and tighten 19 N.m (14 lb ft)
- Raise the vehicle.
Mid Intermediate Steering Shaft (1) - Install - Mid Intermediate Steering Shaft Replacement
- Fuel Feed and Evaporative Emission Pipe - Install -
- Exhaust Front Underbody Heat Shield - Install
- Lower the vehicle.
- Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
- Bleed the brake system. Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Manual with LGX) Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Pressure with LGX) Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Pressure with LTA)
- Check the brake system for leaks.
