Installation Procedure

  1. Ensure that the oil pump drive to crankshaft balancer friction washer (3) is installed.
  2. Install the crankshaft balancer (2). Refer to Crankshaft Balancer Installation .
  3. Install the charge air cooler cooling pump and hoses. Refer to Charge Air Cooler Coolant Pump Replacement .
  4. Remove the EN-48018  flywheel holding tool.
  5. Install the transmission bell housing inspection hole cover.
  6. Install the front air deflector. Refer to Front Air Deflector Replacement .
  7. Lower the vehicle.
  8. Install the engine cooling fan assembly. Refer to Engine Cooling Fan Replacement (LC3) .

  9. Install the generator drive belt (1). Refer to Generator Drive Belt Replacement .
  10. Install the air conditioning, power steering, and water pump drive belt (2). Refer to Water Pump and Air Conditioning Compressor and Power Steering Pump Belt Replacement .
  11. Install the supercharger drive belt (3). Refer to Supercharger Belt Replacement .
  12. Fill the charge air cooling system. Refer to Charge Air Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill) or Charge Air Cooling System Draining and Filling (Vac N Fill) .
