Instrument Panel Assembly Replacement

Preliminary Procedures

1. Disable the SIR system.
2. Remove the instrument panel lower trim panel insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Insulator Replacement .
3. Remove the HVAC remote control assembly. Refer to Heater and Air Conditioning Remote Control Replacement .
4. Remove the radio front speaker. Refer to Radio Front Speaker Replacement .
5. Remove the front floor console. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement .
6. Remove the left instrument panel lower trim panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side .
7. Remove the instrument cluster. Refer to Instrument Cluster Replacement .
8. Remove both windshield side garnish moldings. Refer to Windshield Side Garnish Molding Replacement .

Procedure

1. Disconnect the wiring harness from the I/P assembly.
2. With the aid of an assistant, remove the I/P assembly from the vehicle.
3. If replacing the I/P assembly, transfer all necessary components.
