- Airbag unit may only be set down with the cushion (airbag itself) facing upwards.

- Protect working area.
- Handle tools and components carefully.
- Release nuts (1).
- Remove the side airbag (2) from the backrest frame (3).
Unlock the plug connection of the side airbag (1) and disconnect.
