Removing the wheel bearing

- Secure the vehicle hoist against lowering and lifting.
- Make sure that the vehicle does not lift off the mounting plates on the vehicle lift.
- Position special tool 2 219 012 with special tools 2 411683 and 2 305 379 under wheel carrier (1) .
- Use special tool 2 472 903
or 5 A47 6E6
for tightening the spherical-collar screws.
- Raise or lower the wheel carrier using special tool 2 219 012
to reach all the spherical-collar screws
using special tool 2 472 903
.NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Secure component against falling. - Unscrew the spherical-collar screws (arrows).
- Remove the wheel bearing (1).
- Empty special tool 2 219012
and set it aside.
