Installing rear brake pads

• Install the brake pad (1) in arrow direction.

• Remove the special tool (cable tie) 2 413 317 .
• Mount brake caliper (3).
• Replace screws (1).

• Tighten the screws (1), if applicable, hold against the hexagon head (2).
  TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATION
  
  

  Guide bolt (brake caliper on brake anchor plate)
  M8	Tightening torque	35 Nm

Follow-up work 

• Refer to INSTALLING THE REAR BRAKE PAD WEAR SENSOR .
• Refer to INSTALLING REAR WHEEL ON THE LEFT AND RIGHT .
• Refer to START-UP OR BEDDING IN BREAK-IN OF NEW BRAKE PADS AND ROTORS (REAR BRAKE) .
• Refer to PERFORM THE CBS RESET .
