Replacing the front module bracket

Preliminary work 

• Refer to DEACTIVATING VEHICLE-SPECIFIC HIGH-VOLTAGE OR LOW-VOLTAGE VEHICLE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM .
• Refer to REMOVING THE TRIM FOR THE EMERGENCY OPERATION .
• Refer to REMOVING THE DECORATIVE STRIP ON THE FRONT DOOR TRIM PANEL .
• Refer to REMOVING FRONT DOOR TRIM PANEL .
• Refer to REMOVING THE FRONT MODULE BRACKET .

• Loosen screws (1)  .
• Remove control unit (2)  .
• Install the control unit (2)  on the new module bracket.
• Tighten the screws (1)  .

Control unit of the door on sound insulation
Screw	Tightening torque	2 Nm

Removing airbag sensor from the front door 

• Unlock plug connection (1)  and disconnect.
• Unlock the lock (2)  with care.
• Turn the airbag sensor (3)  on the front door in the arrow direction and remove it.

• Replace the module bracket.

Installing airbag sensor in the front door 

• Position airbag sensor (3)  on the front door and lock in the arrow direction.
• Lock the lock (2)  .
• Connect connectors (1)  and lock.

Remove the loudspeaker on the front door 

• Disconnect plug connection (1)  .
• Unscrew the screws (2)  and remove the loudspeaker (3)  .

Installing the loudspeaker on the front door 

• Position the speaker (3)  .
• Replace screws (2)  .

  Parts:  Screws

• Tighten the screws (2)  .

Speaker to door/trim panel
Screw	Tightening torque	2 Nm

• Connect connector (1)  .
