Remove front door trim panel

Preliminary work 

• Refer to REMOVING THE TRIM FOR THE EMERGENCY OPERATION .
• Refer to REMOVING THE DECORATIVE STRIP ON THE FRONT DOOR TRIM PANEL .

• Remove the covers (1)  with suitable tool.

• Loosen screws (1)  .

• Loosen screws (1)  .

• Unclip the door trim panel (1)  with the special tool 0 496 569 (00 9 325) at the clips (2)  .

• Release the door trim panel (1)  inwards at the clamps (2)  .
• Feed out the door trim panel (1)  and pull it away slightly.

• Release the locking mechanism (1)  and remove the Bowden cable (2)  toward the top.

  The Bowden cable (2)  feeds out on its own.

• Unlock the available plug connection and disconnect it.
• Remove door trim panel.
