Removing the front module bracket
Preliminary work
- Refer to DEACTIVATING VEHICLE-SPECIFIC HIGH-VOLTAGE OR LOW-VOLTAGE VEHICLE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM .
- Refer to REMOVING THE TRIM FOR THE EMERGENCY OPERATION .
- Refer to REMOVING THE DECORATIVE STRIP ON THE FRONT DOOR TRIM PANEL .
- Refer to REMOVING FRONT DOOR TRIM PANEL .
- Loosen screws (1)

- Unlock and disconnect the plug connections (1)
and (2)
of the mirror wiring harness.
Detach the mirror wiring harness from the module bracket.
- Unlock plug connections (1) and disconnect.
- Unclip wiring harness (2) on the module bracket.
- Release rubber grommet (3)
of the Bowden cable inwards from the module bracket.
- Release rubber grommet (1) of the wiring harness inwards from the module bracket.
- Unlock bayonet closures (2) by turning them 90°.
- Lift module bracket (3) slightly and remove it from the door.
