Secure component against falling.

- Disconnect plug connection (1) .
NOTE:
When removing the side window out, make sure that the cable is not damaged.
- Release the seal (1) at the clip (2) and carefully detach it to the front from the side window.
NOTE:

- By using the line threader (1)
, pierce the separating cord (2) 5 A08 569
as shown through the adhesive bead and feed it in.
- Feed in and coil the separating cord (1) 5 A08 569 at the removal tool (2) .
- Secure the removal tool (2)
as shown.
- Lay the separating cord (1) 5 A08 569 circumferentially in a clockwise direction on the adhesive area of the separating cord behind the seals.
- Attach the anchor suction cup (2) as shown to the side panel.
- Attach the separating cord (1) 5 A08 569 with the knurled screw of the anchor suction cup (2) .
- Separate the side window glass with the Spider.
Do not damage the seal of the side window glass!
NOTE:
The separating tool must be repositioned repeatedly to prevent damage on the vehicle and the tool!
