Removing the trim strip from the rear side window

NOTE: RISK OF DAMAGE 
Careless handling of tools and sharp-edged components. 
Scratches, surface damage. 

• Protect working area.
• Handle tools and components carefully.

NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.

Mechanical effects. 
Paint damage. 

• Mask those working areas at risk with yellow plastic adhesive tape.
• Remove and install heavy or bulky components with the aid of another person/other persons.

• Lever out trim strip (1) using special tool 0 496 569 (00 9 325) carefully, starting from the front.
