Installing brake caliper at the rear

• Fit and tighten brake hose (2) on brake caliper.
  TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATION
  
  

  Brake hose to brake caliper, rear
  tightening torque		24 Nm

• Hook the brake hose into holder (1).

• Insert the brake hose (1) in the holder on the body side.
• Ensure a correct fit of the retaining spring (2)!
• Attach and tighten the union screw (3).
  TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATION
  
  

  Brake pipe screw connection/Union screws
  tightening torque		17 Nm

• Refer to REMOVING THE BRAKE PEDAL TENSIONER .
• Refer to GREASING THE BRAKE PADS, THE BRAKE ANCHOR PLATE AND THE BRAKE CALIPER WITH BRAKE PAD PASTE .

• Refer to INSTALLING REAR BRAKE PAD WEAR SENSOR .
• Refer to INSTALLING REAR WHEEL ON THE LEFT AND RIGHT .
• Refer to REMOVING THE COVER OF THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT AT THE REAR LEFT .
• Refer to CONNECTING THE BLEEDER UNIT FOR THE BRAKE FLUID .
• Refer to FLUSH AND VENTING THE REAR AXLE BRAKE CIRCUIT .
• Refer to DISCONNECTING THE BLEEDER UNIT FOR THE BRAKE FLUID .
• Refer to INSTALLING THE COVER OF THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT ON THE REAR LEFT .
• Refer to START-UP OR BEDDING IN BREAK-IN OF NEW BRAKE PADS AND ROTORS (REAR BRAKE) .
