Flush and vent the rear axle brake circuit

Preliminary work
- Refer to REMOVING THE COVER OF THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT AT THE REAR LEFT .
- Refer to CONNECTING THE BLEEDER UNIT FOR THE BRAKE FLUID .
NOTE:
Description is for right component only. The procedure on the left side is identical.
- Begin with the flushing at the right rear.
- Connect the vent hose with the collecting vessel to the bleed valve (1) on rear right brake caliper.
- Open the bleed valve (1) and purge it until clear, bubble-free brake fluid emerges.
- Close bleed valve.TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATION
Bleed valve of the rear brake caliper, made of aluminum and not painted Bleed valve tightening torque 0 Nm TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONBleed valve of the rear brake caliper, made of steel and always painted Bleed valve tightening torque 17 Nm - Carry out the same procedure on the rear left wheel brake.
